2012 Nissan Juke

We are hoping that the 2012 Nissan Juke will be coming in the form of facelift as this ridiculous crossover really need face transplant or something. Well, for the Japanese carmaker, the look of 2012 Juke is good enough as they only improve the performance to achieve better fuel economy and lower emission. So, why bother to do that? All the reasons are because the crossover will be offered on the European market.

When Nissan says that the 2012 Juke has better fuel economy usage, its because the crossover available in two engine variants. Those variants are the 1.6L petrol engine and 1.5L dCi diesel which get some tweak in order to optimize the better gearing ratios for the manual transmission models.

Now, we have got the figures for the fuel economy usage on the 2012 Nissan Juke, right? It feels like we forget something… Oh yes, the EPA figures. The UK combine cycle for the 1.6L petrol engine scores 47.1 mpg (6.0L/100km) which shows the improvement around 2.3 mpg. The EPA for the 2012 Juke cuts down into 139g/km of CO2, a reduction of 8g/km on the predecessor.

As for the 1.5L dCi diesel on the 2012 Juke has UK combined cycle for 57.6mpg (4.9L/100km). No price tag to be announced for the 2012 model year of the crossover, but we predict it won’t be any significant price increase.
