The Subaru Forester for the 2009 model year has had changes in regard to its width, height, and length. Additional changes include a new rear and front track too. The Forester has a high ground clearance, and its enhanced dimensions have led to greater spaciousness and in the interior, more cargo space. The vehicle is definitely an improvement over earlier models.
The 2011 Forester has also been refreshed. It now has a 2.5-Liter H-4 motor in the Forester 2.5X models; the motor offers greater fuel efficiency. The Forester offers 170 horsepower/174 ft-lbs of torque. Features include things like a removable Tom Tom navigation system, a new stereo system, a new backup camera, and additional niceties depending on the trim level selected. The Forester handles well and it has great driving manners. It comes with AWD and off road abilities. The
carmaker has recognized what a consumer wants in a vehicle and will soon be swapping out the aging four-speed auto tranny with a newer five-speed tranny. The change will result in vehicle that is practically unstoppable in the vehicle segment.
